How to read the table
The hit-rate column is the outcome's share of all settled matches in the archive, counted regardless of the opening odds. A match's own opening odds may imply a probability well below or above this overall share — the detail pages show that difference split into odds bands.
Comeback outcomes (1/2 and 2/1) are rare and open at high odds; pay extra attention to the sample size for them. To compare matches' opening and closing odds, use odds analysis; for a detailed walkthrough of the topic, see the HT/FT analysis guide (Turkish).
Frequently asked questions
What does HT/FT mean?
HT/FT (half time / full time) is a bet in which you predict both the half-time and the full-time result of a match together. For example, 2/1 is the outcome where the away team leads at half time but the home team wins the match. There are nine possible outcomes.
Which HT/FT outcome happens most often, and which least often?
In our archive the most common outcome is 1/1 (26.2%, 42,290 matches) and the rarest is 1/2 (2.2%). These rates are an overall count independent of the opening odds; for the distribution by odds band, see the page of the relevant outcome.
What do 1/2 odds mean?
In HT/FT, 1/2 is the outcome where the home team leads at half time but the away team wins the match — a second-half comeback. Because it is one of the rarest of the nine HT/FT outcomes, its odds usually open high. You can see on the HT/FT 1/2 page how often this outcome happened in the past in each opening-odds band.
How do you analyse HT/FT odds?
First look at how often the outcome happens overall, then at which band the match's opening odds fall into. Each HT/FT page shows how often that outcome happened in the past by opening-odds band, together with the sample size. To see a single match's opening odds, you can use the betting programme or the match analysis pages.
